Playing a big show tonight with Rival Waves at The Far Out Lounge. We take the stage at 10pm.
Turned out to be a fun night…The Far Out Lounge is a funky little bar way South on Congress Avenue near Slaughter Lane. The stage was outside and sort of setup like a wooden crate turned on it’s side. It was really cold that night, probably in the upper 30’s. Luckily for me, I was in the back so I was a little warmer than the guys out front.
The sound was pretty good although I couldn’t hear the vocals or the other guitars that well, just me and Paul, on drums. I think they needed some more monitors inside the stage area, you can see in the picture, large speakers hanging on the front of the stage, but, unfortunately, we couldn’t hear those.
Anyway, we played well I thought.
