We recorded a new song for Christina in Dripping Springs called Get By around this time I believe.
Ave and I have been wanting to record some of our songs at a professional studio so we decided to use the same place, Century Recording, where I recorded a few songs with Christina.
This was a gig I played with my fellow Moondog partner, Avrel, at the 200th Celebration of the Bahai’ community. I played the first bass I ever owned, a Memphis, that has since been rebuilt into something entirely different. We had a good show and if I recall, even had some dancers.
This was my first recording session with Christina, we worked on the song Forever at Century Recording studio down in Dripping Springs with Nick Jay at the helm. Charlie Magnone produced the track and played keys, Brian Patterson was called in to play guitar and Bo on drums.
The Cactus Cafe is a very popular venue here in Austin, especially for singer songwriters.
