This was the one and only gig for The Pop Rocks. The band consisted of myself on bass, Avrel on guitar and our good friend, Danny Cavazos on the cajon. We had been wanting to get back into playing live and had worked up some songs from our 20 plus year old set. Danny came over for a rehearsal and we played this one show handing out packs of pop rocks through the set. Avrel had been playing some solo shows at The Monkey Nest so they were kind enough to give us a shot.
